Timothy Arcand, DCRaynham
Dr. Arcand grew up in Raynham, MA where he is proud to be practicing. He attended Roger Williams University (RWU) in Bristol, RI where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. He then continued his education at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Dr. Arcand has always had chiropractic treatment in his life, with his father also being a chiropractor. From a young age he was able to experience the benefits of being treated for various sports injuries, as well as general wellness care to promote an optimally functioning body. Once he began taking anatomy and physiology courses at RWU, he realized how much interest he had in the human body and movement mechanics. This coupled with his interest in helping others in ways he had been helped throughout his own life, he decided becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic was a natural fit.
Dr. Arcand enjoys getting to the root cause of problems. While oftentimes patients will seek care for pain relief, he understands that there is often an underlying reason for their symptoms. Dr. Arcand enjoys using a research guided full body approach to care to not only help eliminate pain, but to help patients perform and function at their highest potential.
Throughout his years at NUHS and up to this day, Dr. Arcand has taken a special interest in myofascial release and functional rehabilitation. He currently holds certificates in Functional Release (FR), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Functional Taping through RockTape, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR).
When not in practice, Dr. Arcand tries to keep up with an active lifestyle. He enjoys exercising in a Functional Fitness gym, going for hikes with his family, and spending time outside no matter the season!
