Bay State Physical Therapy & MCR Chiropractic Partner with Massachusetts Youth Soccer
Braintree, Massachusetts - Bay State Physical Therapy and MCR Chiropractic, leading providers of outpatient physical therapy and chiropractic services throughout New England, are pleased to announce they have partnered with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association as the Official Physical Therapy Partner and Official Chiropractic Partner of Massachusetts Youth Soccer.
Bay State Physical Therapy (Bay State PT) & MCR Chiropractic (MCR Chiro) are a network of locally owned and operated clinics across MA, RI, ME, and NH. We share a mission of providing exceptional physical therapy and chiropractic services. Our teams empower people of all ages to live motion-filled lifestyles, whatever their favorite activities may be!
A core focus of the partnership is on the prevention of injuries amongst players. With clinical research on injuries and a knowledge of the physical demands that soccer places on growing bodies, our clinicians will be working closely with coaches, players, and their families throughout the season with:
- Early season screening and identification of precursors to injuries
- Individualized exercise recommendations for players deemed at increased risk of injury
- Proactive attention to muscle weakness and imbalances
This partnership places the Mass Youth Soccer athletes in an optimal position to excel this season.
“This partnership with Massachusetts Youth Soccer is extremely exciting for our us” stated Dr. Steve Windwer, founder, and CEO of Bay State Physical Therapy and MCR Chiropractic. He went on to add, “We are delighted to be partnering with Mass Youth Soccer. Our clinics are highly engaged in their local communities and are often right on the sidelines watching or coaching their own kids. We look forward to our role in supporting injury prevention while getting to know the coaches, players, and families.”
“We are very excited to partner with Bay State Physical Therapy and MCR Chiropractic! The safety and wellbeing of our athletes is a core component of Mass Youth Soccer’s mission and we are delighted to be able to offer members, players, coaches, parents and administrators with industry leading expertise and education on injury prevention. Through on-field clinics in local communities and the delivery of online educational materials we strongly believe that partnering with Bay State Physical Therapy and MCR Chiropractic will improve the understanding and delivery of injury prevention measures on youth soccer fields across the Commonwealth and increase the number of youth soccer athletes who are active for life.” Mike Borislow, Executive Director, Massachusetts Youth Soccer
