Dr. Joshua Harpel grew up in Stoughton, MA and attended University of Connecticut prior to graduating Summa Cum Laude, as Salutatorian of his class from the University of Bridgeport, earning both his Doctorate in Chiropractic and Master’s in Human Nutrition after completing a demanding four-year dual degree program. His clinical training included rotations at outpatient clinics in Connecticut and a sports medicine internship with the Bridgeport Bluefish, a minor league baseball team, as well as being selected as one of three students to participate in a rigorous clerkship within the VA Healthcare System in Connecticut.

His patients are athletes and families alike, and he has developed an evidence guided, unique clinical approach to treating them using chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, nutritional support, and rehabilitation. Dr Harpel has vast experience in treating complex cases such as workman’s comp and personal injury. His clinical interests go beyond just musculoskeletal and sports injuries and also include a passion for health and wellness. He is committed to helping patients achieve optimal performance, meet their health goals, and stay injury resistant for the remainder of their life. When not in direct patient care, Dr. Harpel enjoys mentoring, developing, and coaching chiropractors as Managing Partner of the Taunton, Stoughton and Fall River MCR Clinics.

Dr Harpel, or Dr Josh as he is known in the office, is trained in Active Release Techniques and holds active certifications in the Graston Technique, Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR), Kinesiotaping, Functional Movement Screening, as well as being a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. He is a member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and American Chiropractic Association.

Outside of the office Dr Harpel believes in lifelong learning and spends his free time seeking knowledge to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
