David Smith, DCVP of Clinical Operations
Dr. David W. Smith is the Vice-President of Clinical Operations for Milton Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, Inc., and a practicing chiropractor at our Quincy location. He takes pride in helping to direct Milton Chiropractic towards the highest level of both patient, and provider satisfaction.
Dr. Smith holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Biology and Human Kinesiology and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences (formerly the National College of Chiropractic). He has also completed an Athletic Trainer Certification at the University of Waterloo, Ontario and provided injury evaluation and care for the university's athletes. Dr. Smith is certified in Graston Technique and has training in ART (Active Release Technique). He is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
Dr. Smith has been involved in providing health and injury care to the Milton and Quincy communities, as well as to local area athletes and sports teams, including Eastern Nazerene College. He is the official event chiropractor for the US National Indoor Track and Field Championships when held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston and and has volunteered his chiropractic and soft tissue treatments as part of the medical support staff for the 2016 World Figure Skating Championships in Boston.
Dr. Smith has lectured to health professionals on various treatment techniques at MGH Institute of Health Professionals and Northeastern University, as well as at other MGH outpatient care facilities. He is also a past instructor for the YMCA’s “Y’s Way to a Healthy Back” program.
In his personal time, he enjoys playing as well as coaching hockey, playing golf, and spending days on the beaches of Marshfield with his wife and two sons.
